"O estranho do rolê" is a Brazilian independent publication based on a original short story. A digital influencer sends himself in the mail, and arrives on another dimension and the solution to his problem, is to know some bird people.
Each chapter is narrated by one of the three protagonists and their role in the journey. The layout of the pages and text reflects the narrator’s background and perspective of the world.
It is becoming increasingly clear that we live in a strange and dystopian world. And only in a world like that exist a reason for memes, Youtubers and the worst: youtubers's memes that send themselves in the mail.
That was a weird day.
Anyway, there is nothing that can not be base for a narrative and "O Estranho do Rolê" tells us about this world that we live in and of others as well. Lightweight, laid-back and unconcerned, the publication covers the journey of a digital influencer wanting to return home after sending himself in the mail and arriving in a different dimension with esoteric pigeons and hipsters flamingos.
The first chapter is narrated by the digital influencer, the pages simulate a text chat as well as the piece of the recording, which the characters is doing, but just like his story, things get complicated.
Joaquim, the flamingo, narrates the second chapter with all the possible elegance and the madness that this other world expires. All guidance that he suggests, just make things get out of control.
The third chapter is graced by Mágda, the punk and esoteric pigeon that can help the digital influencer with this whole dimension story, however the solution may not be ideal.
